Key Responsibilities:
  • Acquire knowledge of all stages of the production process, including equipment operation and ingredient mixing as directed by supervisors.
  • Shape, cut, mold, and bake dough according to established standards.
  • Track baking times to ensure optimal product quality.
  • Notify supervisors of any product quality concerns.
  • Ensure all processes comply with customer specifications and minimize risks to the organization.
  • Keep the workspace and equipment clean and organized while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Adapt to various environmental conditions, including heat and humidity.
  • Conduct basic visual inspections of products for quality assurance.
  • Utilize necessary tools and equipment to fulfill job duties.
  • Be available for both scheduled and unscheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: A minimum of 1 year in a baking or bakery-related role is preferred.

  • Proficiency in reading and writing English; bilingual in English/Spanish is advantageous.
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Capable of following straightforward instructions and guidelines.
  • Self-motivated and able to think critically under pressure.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and comply with OSHA and SDS standards.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
