The Role of the Lead Teacher

The Lead Teacher is a key member of our educational team, responsible for leading the instructional program and supporting the growth and development of our students. This role requires a strong commitment to teaching and learning, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. The Lead Teacher will work closely with our instructional coach and other members of the educational team to develop and implement curriculum, assess student progress, and provide support to students and families. We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced teacher who is passionate about education and committed to making a positive impact in the lives of our students.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement curriculum that is engaging, interactive, and tailored to the needs of each child
  • Lead the instructional program and provide support to students and families
  • Collaborate with the instructional coach and other members of the educational team to assess student progress and develop strategies for improvement
  • Provide coaching and support to junior teachers and other members of the educational team
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a classroom teacher
  • Strong commitment to teaching and learning, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and build strong relationships with students, families, and community partners
  • Passion for education and commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of our students
