Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team at Blackline Safety Corp. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing regional distribution partners to achieve strong revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales Growth: Support distribution partners in their sales and marketing efforts to drive revenue growth.
  • Field Level Support: Conduct end-user calls with distributor sales representatives to provide support and guidance.
  • Sales Process Support: Support distribution partners through the entire sales process from initial contact to purchase order and transition to the implementation team.
  • New Business Opportunities: Identify and create new business opportunities with distribution partners and end-users to achieve sales and profit targets.
  • Lead Follow-up: Timely follow up on leads created by Blackline demand generation efforts.
  • Distribution Management: Identify and qualify new distribution as required to ensure appropriate geographic and vertical market coverage.
  • Customer Relationships: Develop customer relationships in their regions and vertical markets to generate new business.
  • Industry Networking: Attend industry trade shows to promote the Blackline brand, secure new leads, and enhance relationships with existing clients.
  • Pipeline Updates: Provide weekly pipeline opportunity updates to the Director of Sales, including progress on specific distribution opportunities and status of prospective end-user clients.

  • Sales Training: Sales training with industry-leading training programs is an asset.
  • Productivity Tools: Above-average capabilities with productivity tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and CRM.

Minimum Requirements:

  • B2B Experience: Minimum 5 years of B2B experience with a distributor or manufacturer selling complex services or products.
  • Industry Experience: Experience selling gas detection or safety-related services is considered a benefit.
  • Market Share Growth: A track record of success increasing market share and securing net new business through a distribution business model.
