Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of products (electronics) throughout various manufacturing stages, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Document acceptance and rework of non-conforming materials.
  • Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and documents to ascertain quality requirements for manufactured items.
  • Evaluate products (cables, circuit cards, assemblies, systems, etc.) for compliance with industry standards, military specifications, and customer requirements. Perform initial inspections as necessary.
  • Utilize microscopes, testing apparatus, and standard measuring tools for inspections. May require prolonged use of a microscope. Ensure all documentation is accurate and complete. Collaborate with Quality Engineers to address non-conforming materials and identify defect trends in production processes. Maintain records of defects through data entry into company systems.
