About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Immunoassay Research and Development team as a Research and Development Intern. This is a 12-week paid internship that provides functional learning, project work, and exposure to Danaher Business System fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in laboratory operations, including material inventory and general laboratory maintenance.
  • Support tasks related to the development of fully-automated immunoassays on Beckman Coulter's instruments.
  • Contribute to the development of new immunoassays and reagents for clinical diagnostic systems.
  • Collaborate with a team of scientists to design and execute experiments.
  • Document studies performed and present findings to the team.
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biological Sciences or related discipline.
  • 0-2+ years of laboratory experience (class experience acceptable).
  • Knowledge of good laboratory practices and scientific methods.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of statistical methods and design of experiments.
