Position Overview:
The Facility Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the setup and dismantling of all scheduled church activities and approved external events, while also contributing to the upkeep and overall management of the facility. This role reports directly to the Facilities and Safety Director.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the setup and dismantling processes throughout the facility for all scheduled church activities and approved external events.
  • Assist in maintaining the facility's cleanliness and functionality, both inside and outside.
  • Promote and embody the church's mission of spreading the Gospel and transforming lives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Physically capable of performing the required tasks.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
  • Ability to manage oneself effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience in recruiting and training volunteers.
  • Reliable and professional demeanor.
  • Flexible availability.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
Specific Duties:

Facility Management:
  • Engage with, recruit, lead, and manage the Setup and Dismantle Volunteer Team for weekly church activities and external events.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Facility Maintenance:
  • Assist in maintaining the facility's condition, both inside and outside.
  • Complete scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Carry out repairs as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Time Commitment:
  • Full-time position requiring approximately 40 hours per week, including around 8 hours on a designated weekend each month.
Evaluation:
  • 90-day performance assessment.
  • Ongoing bi-annual evaluations.
