About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Line Manager to join our team at KNS International. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and developing a product line from concept to market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement product strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, development, and marketing, to ensure alignment and consistency throughout the product line.
  • Manage and analyze market research and consumer trends to inform product development and ensure commercial success.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, manufacturers, and customers.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of product linesheets, including product information, pricing, and inventory management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates to product information, including images and relevant details.
  • Manage product samples and facilitate the seamless passing of samples to relevant teams.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the fashion and footwear industry, including trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.
  • Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert in fashion product area.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
Requirements
  • University or four-year college degree in apparel/fashion design or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in fashion and/or casual footwear industry.
  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Efficiency in CAD design.
  • Footwear development knowledge is a bonus.
  • Practical knowledge of other functions, such as sourcing, production, sales, marketing, and merchandising.
  • Industry and consumer trend knowledge in the footwear industry.
  • Presentation/speaking skills – able to present and sell to all levels of the organization as well as the customer, communicating a clear and inspiring vision.
  • Demonstrated collaboration, interpersonal influence, and teamwork skills (maintains effective communication and working relationships).
  • Results-oriented while exhibiting great energy and resourcefulness.
  • Passion for the fashion footwear industry.
