At Helen Ross McNabb Center Inc, we are seeking a skilled LPN to join our EmPATH program as a Crisis Intervention Specialist. This role requires a compassionate and detail-oriented individual who can provide high-quality care to individuals in crisis.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct and indirect client care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, professional standards of care, state regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Conduct initial assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to address client needs.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Maintain accurate and complete health records, including admission notes, nurse notes, and discharge summaries.
- Administer medications, provide wound care, and perform other nursing tasks as needed.
- Current LPN license in Tennessee.
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology, clinical skills, and critical thinking.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced crisis setting, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information, and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
