About the Role

Sunrun is a leading provider of solar energy solutions, and we're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Field Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Field Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating sales leads and presenting our solar products and services to potential customers in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to generate leads and appointments with potential customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and sales experience from initial contact through installation and beyond.
  • Conduct in-home sales presentations to evaluate customers' knowledge and needs, building long-lasting relationships.
  • Manage the sales pipeline from prospect to installation, following up with leads and in-home consultations.
  • Accurately report on sales outcomes via our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
  • Meet or exceed minimum sales targets as set by sales leadership.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience, with in-home sales experience preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to partner cross-functionally with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Willingness to spend time traveling within local markets, depending on business needs and sales model.
  • Intermediate comfort level with technology, utilizing an iPad/computer and multiple software applications (experience with a CRM is a plus).
