Job Summary:
The Cardiac Sonographer performs advanced cardiac ultrasound services and procedures for adult patients, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms, to diagnose and assess cardiac abnormalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment and patients for examinations
- Explain procedures and review images with patients
- Report findings and analyze patient clinical history to identify examination purposes and clinical questions
- Expand examinations as necessary to answer clinical questions
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cardiac sonography and excellent communication skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care.
