Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at University Hospital in Madison, WI. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and other ultrasound procedures to diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases.

About the Job

This is a 13-week contract position with competitive pay rates and benefits. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of cardiac experience and be registered in echocardiography (RCS or RDCS). Prior traveler experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms and other ultrasound procedures to diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases
  • Interpret echocardiogram results and provide recommendations for treatment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of cardiac experience
  • Registered in echocardiography (RCS or RDCS)
  • Prior traveler experience highly preferred
  • Successful completion of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CHAAHEP) approved ultrasound program
