Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Sales Manager to join our team at Paducah Television Operations LLC. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for developing and executing creative plans to generate new business and grow revenue from existing accounts on all platforms, including spot TV, digital, and mobile.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue growth and exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting, pitching, and closing deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to inform sales strategies and tactics.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the media or advertising industry.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership, with a strong focus on revenue growth and team development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and develop strategies to address challenges.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and achieving sales targets.
