Position Summary:
We are seeking a Lead IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in delivering high-level technical assistance to our staff across various locations. The Lead IT Support Technician will address intricate computer-related challenges, encompassing software, hardware, and mobile device support. Assistance will be provided through various channels, including help desk tickets and direct communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve requests for technical support from end users, including providing advanced assistance to fellow IT Support Technicians.
- Conduct training sessions and offer mentorship to junior IT Support staff.
- Manage and update the WDS imaging server to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and inventory records utilizing software tools such as One Note, Excel, Lansweeper, and Active Directory.
- Collaborate with the Network Operations Manager on various projects as directed by the IT Manager.
- Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding processes by creating and managing employee accounts.
Additional Responsibilities:
The Lead IT Support Technician will be responsible for providing advanced technical support to all employees on a daily basis. This support will primarily be delivered through our help desk ticketing system, supplemented by phone calls and direct emails. Responsibilities may also include assisting with telecommunication and voicemail issues. The Network Operations Manager may assign additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree, associate's degree, or relevant IT certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in providing technical support in a professional setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of advanced IT principles and practices.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to established procedures.
- A positive attitude and a collaborative spirit.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- All new hires will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment background check.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications.
Working Conditions:
This role may involve prolonged periods of sedentary work, interaction with clients, and occasional travel.
