Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to lead our maintenance team in providing exceptional facilities management services to our clients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in building systems, maintenance operations, and customer service.
Responsibilities:- Maintain building systems, including inspecting buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.
- Assist with ancillary building systems necessary to keep systems operating at peak performance with minimal downtime.
- Receive direction from Lead Facility Engineer or Facility Manager.
- Maintain facility equipment as indicated by preventative maintenance plan.
- Provide general building maintenance and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot, evaluate, and recommend upgrades.
- Identify/Order parts and supplies for maintenance and repairs.
- Forward high-level technical maintenance to appropriate resource.
- Escalate issues to Critical Environment Leadership/Management Team as needed.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities at various facilities, requiring driving of vehicle to different sites.
- Comply with all internal and external requirements, including environmental, health and safety, fire protection.
- Provide observations about facility, facility mechanical and electrical equipment and systems conditions and deficiencies and provide recommendations for enhancement and repair.
- Receive, track, monitor, and report status of maintenance and repair work within service maintenance management database.
- Participate in and assist with facility-related projects.
- Ensure the manner in which work is performed is in compliance with corporate and legislated policies, procedures, practices, and guidelines related to environmental, health and safety, fire protection, and any other applicable requirements.
- Assist in enhancing tenant and customer satisfaction and maintaining positive relations through the manner in which work is performed and services delivered.
- Two or more (2) years of experience with building/facility operations or training equivalent.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent work experience required.
- Experience or knowledge of maintaining building infrastructure is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required.
The Lead Maintenance Technician will be required to work at heights and from ladders, regularly walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Respond to off-hour emergency calls.
