Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and assemble wooden crates, boxes, and pallets to package and protect products for shipment.
  • Operate forklifts to move crates, boxes, and pallets, ensuring efficient use of warehouse space.
  • Organize and optimize space for shipment, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Label products with shipping information, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management to support business operations and facilities maintenance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Valid forklift operator's license or the ability to obtain one.
  • Physical strength and endurance to lift and move heavy materials, up to 50 lbs.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.

Physical Requirements

The Custom Crate Builder position requires the ability to lift and move heavy materials, operate equipment, and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment.
