Position Summary
We are currently in search of a skilled Field Service Technician with a background in heavy machinery to provide exceptional service for various types of material handling equipment and forklifts in the Buffalo, NY region.
This position involves working independently with minimal supervision, requiring the ideal candidate to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and maintain a safe driving record. Candidates must possess their own tools.
Key Responsibilities
• Inspect, diagnose, and service heavy lift machinery (diesel, electric, or LP fueled) to identify technical issues.
• Determine necessary repairs and maintain accurate service records.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance tasks at customer locations.
• Test mechanical equipment post-repair or assembly to ensure optimal performance and adherence to manufacturer specifications.
• Hydraulic and diesel expertise is essential.
• Strong electrical skills are required.
• Maintain a clean and safe driving record.
• Previous mechanical and technical experience with large mobile equipment is preferred.
• Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening, physical examination, and background check.
