Job Description

AbbVie is seeking a seasoned marketing professional to lead the Gastroenterology portfolio. As a key member of the AbbVie team, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive business growth and maximize portfolio potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership to the Gastroenterology marketing team, aligning with the company's overall marketing vision and goals.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans to support the Gastroenterology portfolio, including Skyrizi and Rinvoq.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, medical affairs, and market access, to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, payers, and customers, to understand market dynamics and develop effective marketing solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory requirements to inform marketing strategies and ensure compliance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on pharmaceuticals or biotechnology.
  • Prior director-level experience, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, including segmentation, targeting, and positioning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
