Inclusive Education Specialist

Position Overview: The Inclusive Education Specialist is responsible for implementing effective strategies for the education of children with developmental challenges and autism. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, regulations, and policies while providing training to staff and clients as necessary.
- Utilize best practices in the education of children with developmental disabilities and autism.
- Oversee classroom dynamics, including the management of both staff and students, while maintaining an organized learning environment.
- Uphold a high standard of professionalism and respect in all interactions with colleagues, clients, management, and external stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding client and personnel matters, exercising sound judgment in all responsibilities.
- Design, implement, and sustain a suitable educational curriculum and daily schedule.
- Delegate tasks to Assistant Teachers and Instructional Aides as appropriate.
- Conduct assessments and provide direct instruction to students.
- Review each child's educational background as documented in their master file.
- Collaborate with parents and relevant specialists to establish annual goals at least two weeks prior to IEP meetings.
- Coordinate with specialists for assessments, planning, and collaborative execution of educational strategies.
- Monitor and document progress towards IEP goals on a daily and weekly basis, including data collection for all objectives and target behaviors.
- Prepare for and participate in quarterly meetings with parents to discuss their child's progress towards IEP goals.
- Successful candidates must complete a fingerprint clearance, physical and TB screenings, and provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with CBEST certification.
- Valid California State Special Education Teaching Credentials in Level 1 Mild to Moderate with AAA/Autism Added Authorization or Level 2 Moderate to Severe.
- If currently a student, must possess a Bachelor's Degree with CBEST and be enrolled in a teacher credentialing program.
Compensation:
- Starting salary ranges from $70,000 to $74,000 annually, depending on credential completion status and experience.
- A sign-on bonus of $3,000 is available, distributed over a 12-month period.
