Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Intervention Specialist to join our team at Partners in Special Education. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing direct support and care to students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support to students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth.
• Collaborate with students' families, teachers, and other professionals to develop and implement personalized behavioral plans.
• Utilize principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support students in improving their communication skills, social skills, and self-management abilities.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress, adhering to prescribed behavioral plans.
• Participate in required training and staff meetings to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience working with students with diverse needs; experience in ABA or a related field is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to connect with students, exercise reasonable judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness to travel to various locations as needed.
