Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled Academic Surgical Pathologist to join our team at Hershey Medical Center. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, advancing medical knowledge, and contributing to the academic mission of our institution.
About the Role- Practice as a Surgical Pathologist in a quaternary care academic hub with a high-volume surgical pathology department.
- Collaborate with a strong, collegial department of 40 faculty members in Anatomic, Clinical, and Experimental Pathology.
- Participate in undergraduate and graduate medical education, as well as graduate school teaching.
- Contribute to clinical, translational, and basic research, with support for collaborative and independent research.
- Board-certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
