Surgical Pathologist

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Pathologist to join our team at the Hershey Medical Center. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing expert diagnostic services in surgical pathology, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and interpret surgical pathology procedures, including gross examination, histopathological examination, and molecular testing.
- Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Engage in educational activities, including teaching and mentoring residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in surgical pathology and participate in ongoing professional development.
