Key Responsibilities- Induction and Training: Support and deliver induction training to new staff members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for children.
- Health and Safety: Enforce health and safety regulations, conduct regular risk assessments, and maintain accurate records to ensure a safe environment for all.
- Communication: Update and communicate with Area Managers and Central Office on a daily and weekly basis, providing timely and accurate information to ensure seamless operations.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete high-risk activities and paperwork in accordance with Barracudas Activity Codes of Practice, process bookings, and maintain accurate records.
- Staff Support: Provide support to staff members during sessions, assist with staff training, and ensure they are aware of any children with medical or dietary needs.
- Child Welfare: Oversee children's Essential Information forms, ensure every child on camp has a completed form, and liaise with parents and guardians as needed.
- Leave Management: Allocate leave for General Staff members, ensuring that staff are aware of their leave schedule and any changes.
- Financial Management: Monitor petty cash and financial records, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Camp Maintenance: Ensure the site and baserooms are kept tidy, and all equipment is packed away at the end of each camp.
- Compulsory Training: Attend Senior Training events, as specified in the contract.
- Organizational Skills: Be highly organized and time-efficient, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Technical Skills: Have experience using Microsoft Excel and Word, and knowledge of Office 365.
- IT Skills: Be able to obtain and develop IT skills, including our in-house booking system.
- Eligibility: Be eligible to work in the UK and obtain an enhanced DBS check through Barracudas or have an existing enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
- References: Provide satisfactory professional or academic references.
- Induction Training: Attend and deliver Induction Training Day(s), as required.
- Online Training: Complete Online Training annually.
- Camp Coordination: Coordinate pack-up at the end of each camp.
- Health and Safety: Fulfill health and safety obligations by following procedures and safe systems as detailed in manuals and training.
- Child Protection: Report Child Protection concerns to a Designated Person at Central Office.
- Staff Support: Ensure staff are aware of any children who have additional, medical, or dietary needs, and assist with making reasonable adjustments.
- Medication Administration: Support the Senior Team in ensuring necessary medication is administered and appropriate documentation completed.
- Swimming Support: Bring swimwear daily, as may be required to support a swimming session.
