We are seeking a qualified Speech Therapist to become a valuable member of our dedicated team at a reputable educational institution. This position is for a contract role aimed at enhancing the communication abilities of students.

The Speech Therapist will be tasked with evaluating students who have been referred for assistance with speech, language, or auditory challenges. The role involves instructing individuals on sound production, voice modulation, and the enhancement of both verbal and written communication skills. Additionally, the Speech Therapist will guide patients in strengthening their oral muscles and applying techniques to safely swallow without risk.

Key Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of a current state license as a Speech Therapist or actively pursuing licensure.
  • Provision of specialized speech therapy services tailored to the needs of the educational environment.
  • Assessment of student requirements, along with planning, evaluating, and adjusting therapy to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
  • Must have necessary diagnostic instruments for early childhood screening and assessments for grades K-8.
