Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Visual Merchandising Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting the Store Manager with the daily operations, sales strategies, training initiatives, and overall management of the store.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Drive Business Performance:**
- Inspire and motivate team members to align daily tasks with business objectives.
- Oversee sales floor activities to enhance customer engagement and drive sales.
- Ensure compliance with dress code and monitor staff breaks and shift transitions.
2. **Sales and Customer Experience:**
- Communicate effectively with the Store Manager regarding top-selling products.
- Conduct hourly sales assessments and coach team members to exceed sales goals.
- Uphold a high standard of customer service across all areas of the business.
3. **Visual Merchandising Excellence:**
- Take ownership of the Visual/Product Division of Responsibility, ensuring effective execution of merchandising standards.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to optimize product placement based on sales performance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year in retail management.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing work demands and maintain a goal-oriented focus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Capable of packing, unpacking, and moving stock as needed.
