Position Overview

We are actively seeking a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant who enjoys engaging with individuals and possesses a caring demeanor for our Huber Heights location.

PMG The Heights, similar to all Providence Medical Group primary care facilities, is acknowledged as a Patient-Centered Medical Home, dedicated to fostering enduring patient relationships grounded in trust and continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare examination rooms and welcome patients.
  • Measure and document vital signs including height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
  • Conduct patient interviews and gather medical histories.
  • Prepare patients for assessments, tests, and treatments while explaining procedures. Assist with tasks as directed by the healthcare provider.
  • Support examinations, administer treatments, and perform specialized tests as necessary.
  • Organize medical equipment and prepare treatment areas for patient use.
  • Collect specimens such as blood, urine, and sputum, and conduct routine laboratory analyses on these samples.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.

Required Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; reliable attendance.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in medical terminology, computer applications, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Familiarity with medical procedures, equipment, and instruments.
  • Capability to perform venipuncture.

Educational Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of a Medical Assisting Program.
