Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer

About the Role:

The Supplier Quality Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring that suppliers meet the quality standards set by Lincoln Industries. This includes verifying part-specific requirements and supplier quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with the Global Supply Chain department to conduct supplier assessments, periodic audits, and maintain supplier performance scorecards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective communication channels with all levels of staff and suppliers regarding quality issues.
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH LINCOLN INDUSTRIES SUPPLIERS.
  • Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to analyze and resolve supplier quality issues.
  • CONDUCT REGULAR SUPPLIER QUALITY AUDITS TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH ESTABLISHED STANDARDS.
  • PERFORM RISK ASSESSMENTS AND COORDINATE STRATEGIC RISK MITIGATION PROJECTS TO PROTECT COMPANY INTERESTS.
  • MAINTAIN ACCURATE SUPPLIER SCORECARDS TO TRACK PERFORMANCE OVER TIME.
  • COORDINATE ENGINEERING CHANGES THROUGH THE SUPPLY CHAIN TO ENSURE SMOOTH OPERATION.
  • MANAGE SUPPLIER PPAP EVENTS TO ENSURE TIMELY DELIVERY AND QUALITY OUTPUT.
  • MONITOR SUPPLIER QUALITY AND COORDINATE REJECT/RETURN/DEBIT PROCESS TO MINIMIZE FINANCIAL IMPACT.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a reputable institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing field, with at least 1 year in a quality role.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical data and make informed decisions.

Salary: Estimated annual salary $80,000 - $120,000 based on location and industry standards.
