Job Description:
Quality Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team at Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A in Lincoln, NE. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure high-quality products.
  • Analyze data and make informed decisions to improve processes and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Design and implement quality training programs for employees.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and reporting.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Agricultural/Engineering Technology from a four-year college or university or equivalent work experience.
  • Three plus years of Manufacturing experience.
  • One plus year of Quality Engineering experience or equivalent.
  • Experience with Root Cause analysis and implementing robust countermeasures.
  • Supplier/Customer interaction.
  • ISO 9001 Experience.
  • Quality Auditing experience.
  • Experience in PPAP or First Article Inspection.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Good communication and written skills, able to communicate with overseas suppliers and customers.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
