Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience and Sales
  • Drive Sales and Customer Satisfaction: Demonstrate a customer-first approach, lead by example, and drive sales plan and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve business objectives.
  • Visual Merchandising and Events: Partner with the Store Manager to plan and execute grassroots events, marketing activities, and compelling visual presentations that drive customer engagement and sales.
  • Customer Service and Resolution: Maintain sales floor awareness, resolve customer concerns quickly and effectively, and ensure a positive customer experience.
Team Development and Operations
  • Recruit, Coach, and Develop Team Members: Support the Store Manager in recruiting top talent, building a bench of internal and external candidates, and providing timely feedback, training, and coaching that result in improved performance.
  • Team Accountability and Communication: Hold team members accountable for achieving performance and service expectations, communicate clearly and respectfully, and promote teamwork and collaboration.
  • Store Operations and Maintenance: Maintain general store operations, including keyholding responsibilities, adhere to operational policies and procedures, and ensure safe and efficient store operations.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, along with 2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in a specialty store or boutique.
  • Organizational and Retail Skills: Strong organizational and retail selling skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Retail Math and Technology: Ability to operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, PCs, email, and iPad functions, and perform retail math calculations.
  • Reliability and Flexibility: Must be reliable, dependable, and able to work a flexible schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
