The Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) is seeking a skilled Submarine Combat Systems Analyst to join our team of experts in assessing the performance and capability development of the U.S. Navy's submarine-based combat systems. As a key member of our team, you will apply your operational and analytical problem-solving skills to analyze complex system performance and provide critical insights to inform future development decision-making.

About the Role
You will collaborate with internal and external partners through working groups to assess combat systems at the operational, functional, technical, and system performance level. You will research, investigate, and experiment with next-generation analysis capabilities and look for creative applications in unconventional ways. Your contributions will help us push the boundaries of system capabilities and optimize operational utility and employment.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have Submarine Warfare qualification and extensive relevant experience in submarine sonar system operational employment and training or possess a BS degree in Engineering. You will also need to be passionate about applying operational experience and analytical skills in an innovative and collaborative environment. Additionally, you will require strong interpersonal skills and be able to develop relationships across organizational teams.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $220,000 Annually
