Enhancing Naval Operations through Analytical Excellence

The Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) is seeking a talented Submarine Combat Systems Analyst to join our team of experts in driving innovation and excellence in naval operations. As a key member of our team, you will apply your analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze complex system performance and develop actionable recommendations to inform future development decision-making.

About the Role
You will work closely with internal and external partners to assess the performance of submarine-based combat systems. You will research, investigate, and experiment with next-generation analysis capabilities and look for creative applications in unconventional ways. Your contributions will help us enhance naval operations and optimize the effectiveness of submarine-based combat systems.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have Submarine Warfare qualification and extensive relevant experience in submarine sonar system operational employment and training or possess a BS degree in Engineering. You will also need to be passionate about applying operational experience and analytical skills in an innovative and collaborative environment. Additionally, you will require strong interpersonal skills and be able to develop relationships across organizational teams.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $220,000 Annually
