This role focuses on expanding sales of specialty gases and related equipment by forging new customer relationships and nurturing existing ones. You'll leverage your expertise to present comprehensive solutions tailored to diverse customer needs across various industries.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth through innovative product offerings and targeted marketing initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, fostering trust and understanding their unique requirements.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and effectively present our comprehensive range of specialty gases and equipment solutions.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and project scopes to ensure mutually beneficial agreements with both new and existing clients.
- Utilize CRM platforms to manage customer interactions, track sales progress, and optimize time management within your assigned territory.
- Collaboratively work with internal teams to address customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Consistently strive to exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of American Welding and Gas.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- 1-3 years of proven sales experience, preferably within the industrial gas industry.
- Strong understanding of gas products and applications, with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear and persuasive interactions with customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM platforms.
- A results-oriented mindset with a proven track record of achieving sales goals and exceeding expectations.
