We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator Senior to join our team at Duke University School of Medicine. The successful candidate will provide leadership and coordination for clinical research studies, ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership for clinical research teams, overseeing the conduct of multiple, complex oncology clinical trials and research studies.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment and retention strategies to maintain high participation rates.
- Collaborate with Principal Investigators and study teams to ensure seamless study execution and participant enrollment.
- Ensure compliance with institutional requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines, maintaining accurate documentation and records.
- Lead the development of Conflict of Interest, Data Safety Monitoring Plans, and Research Data Security Plans.
- Oversee study budgets and closeouts, coordinating with financial teams and participating in budget development.
- Graduation from an accredited BSN or Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
- Current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
- Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience and four years of research experience.
- Previous oncology or research experience preferred.
