Job Overview

Adecco Staffing is collaborating with a manufacturing company seeking a Metal Fabrication Specialist for the first shift. This role is a temporary position with the potential for permanent employment.

Compensation:

  • $19.00 per hour

Work Schedule:

  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate aluminum components using electric and hydraulic power tools according to specified designs and requirements.
  • Perform various fabrication tasks including handling, shearing, notching, and bending aluminum sheets ranging from .015" to .375" in thickness, with widths up to 48" and lengths up to 144".
  • Handle materials weighing up to and occasionally exceeding 50 lbs.
  • Assist in additional fabrication tasks such as drilling, sanding, cutting, assembling, and fastening, utilizing electric or pneumatic tools and machinery.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants should possess significant experience in handling, shearing, and shaping metals (aluminum or steel) and be knowledgeable in the operation and upkeep of power shears and brakes.
  • Candidates must be in good health, capable of lifting up to and occasionally more than 50 lbs, mentally alert, and exhibit good character and conduct that aligns with team dynamics.
  • This position is safety-sensitive, and passing a drug test is a prerequisite for employment.

Compensation Details: $19.00 per hour
