Job Summary:

Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment and systems, new equipment installations and troubleshooting.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Uses hand and power tools, machine tools, and tests equipment as qualified.
  • Completes tasks as assigned, by lead or by electronic maintenance request tracking system.
  • Operates forklifts, aerial man lifts, and other company vehicles.
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting of a variety of maintenance issues
  • Follows all safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Keeps work area clean and free from debris.
  • Maintains regular work schedule.
  • Follows these and additional instructions as assigned, including production duties.


Schedule

  • Monday - Thursday, 4:30pm-3am
  • Includes 10% pay differential for working 2nd Shift

Initial training will occur on 1st Shift - 6am-4:30pm


Work Environment:

  • May be exposed to noise, dust, fumes, airborne particles, smoke (Not over OSHA Permissible Exposure Levels).
  • Bending, twisting, and working from aerial lifts and in confined spaces, lifting up to 25-45lbs on an occasional basis.
  • Safety training and equipment are provided by MPP in accordance with applicable law, industry standards and company policy.

Requirements:
  • Understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Previous maintenance experience of a minimum of two years.
  • At least one year of metal fabrication.
  • Ability to use computers.
  • Able to stand for scheduled shift.
  • Ability to read/write/speak English.
