Facilities Maintenance Technician

Position Summary:
The role involves conducting both preventive and corrective maintenance on various mechanical and electrical systems, as well as overseeing the installation of new equipment and troubleshooting existing issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilizes hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment as required.
- Completes assigned tasks through direct supervision or an electronic maintenance tracking system.
- Operates company vehicles, including forklifts and aerial lifts.
- Engages in problem-solving and troubleshooting for a range of maintenance challenges.
- Adheres to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
- Follows a consistent work schedule.
- Complies with additional instructions as required, including production-related tasks.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday, 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM
- Includes a 10% pay differential for second shift work.
Initial training will be conducted during first shift hours.
Work Environment:
- Potential exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and airborne particles, within OSHA permissible exposure limits.
- Physical activities may include bending, twisting, and working from elevated platforms or in confined spaces, with occasional lifting of 25-45 lbs.
- Safety training and necessary equipment will be provided in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.

Qualifications:
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- A minimum of two years of maintenance experience.
- At least one year of experience in metal fabrication.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
- Able to stand for the duration of the scheduled shift.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Must meet U.S. person status requirements.
- Ability to successfully pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
Employment Eligibility:
