Job Title: Quality Inspector - 3rd Shift

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team at our site in Chaska, MN. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide variety of inspections, checks, and tests for quality control for the manufacturing of products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Approve incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting unacceptable materials; creating quality notifications for non-conformances.
  • Communicate discrepancies to production supervisors and help determine next steps.
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; inputting data into quality databases.
  • Conduct process audits and perform capability studies.
  • Maintain safe and healthy work environments by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
  • Understand and apply statistical process control techniques, including basic chart interpretation and capability analysis.
Requirements:
  • Previous quality/inspector roles in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience navigating SAP and quality systems preferred.
  • Good oral and written communication skills; proficient with Excel; technical training in blueprint reading; good values; willingness to learn; thorough; detailed-oriented; open to feedback.
  • Skilled using a variety of measurement equipment, including calipers, pin gage sets, height gauges, test indicators, micrometers, pitch micrometers, dial indicators, surface plates, optical comparators, smart scopes, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs).

  • Compensation: $23-$24 per hour based on experience.
  • Shift differential: $1.25 per hour.
  • This position is eligible for a $3,000 sign-on bonus.
