Position Overview

The Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer I plays a crucial role in enhancing supplier quality for procured components. This position is situated within the Supplier Quality department and is focused on fostering a world-class supply chain organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement daily supplier management initiatives to enhance supplier performance.
  • Evaluate nonconforming materials and devise strategies to prevent future occurrences.
  • Act as the primary quality representative for root cause analysis and corrective action regarding supplier-related manufacturing challenges.
  • Revise supplier material control plans and incoming material inspection protocols.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific discipline.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in interpreting specifications from engineering drawings.
  • Strong investigative skills to assess component conformity.
  • Technical writing capabilities to document investigation findings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in supplier management within regulated industries such as FDA.
  • Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT).
  • Knowledge of sampling plans and measurement systems.

Compensation and Benefits
