The Lead Aquatics Educator and Senior Coach at British Swim School is dedicated to our mission of ensuring that every individual, regardless of age or skill level, has the chance to become a safe and joyful swimmer. In this role, you will oversee, mentor, and inspire a vibrant team of swim instructors while also stepping in to teach as necessary. Your leadership will be pivotal in enhancing student retention, success, and overall satisfaction for families participating in our Aquatics Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly report to and maintain communication with the Franchise Business Owner.
- Recruit, guide, and develop a talented team of swim instructors.
- Identify improvement areas and implement strategic plans to boost customer retention and manage operational costs.
- Conduct training sessions, performance reviews, and recognize individual achievements within the aquatics team.
- Address performance issues with underperforming staff through personalized improvement plans and coaching.
- Manage the scheduling of the aquatics team, including time-off requests.
- Deliver swim classes as needed.
- Engage with customers to resolve any concerns promptly.
- Communicate effectively with children and their guardians regarding swimming progress and any inquiries.
- Conduct regular site assessments to ensure adherence to brand standards.
- Maintain adequate inventory of supplies for lessons and ensure safety standards are upheld.
- Oversee the execution of all programs, including specialized offerings.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by the Franchise Business Owner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience.
- American Red Cross Lifeguard certification or equivalent.
- CPR/First Aid Instructor certification.
- Successful completion of aquatics leadership training through British Swim School Corporate.
Compensation: $25.00 per hour
