Fleet and Facility Maintenance Technician

Tilson is a leading provider of information infrastructure solutions, and we're seeking a highly skilled Fleet and Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our business fleet and maintaining our facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Fleet Tasks:
    • Coordinate the pickup and delivery of equipment to servicing dealerships as scheduled by our Project Fleet Coordinator.
    • Pick up parts from local suppliers and collect weekly drilling activity hours to support fleet tracking efforts.
    • Own and manage TSS fleet items at the operations level, resolving and closing out fleet action items as needed.
    • Inspect and receive new fleet equipment, updating our Project Fleet Coordinator and Fleet teams on operations fleet vehicle assignments.
    • Maintain accurate counts and locations of all keys, including assignments and replacements.
    • Perform minor equipment repairs, including broken gaskets, O-rings, pumps, hoses, and belts.
    • Conduct in-yard vehicle and equipment inspections, maintaining the supply closet for vehicle and equipment maintenance parts.
  • Facility Tasks:
    • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of our yard, inspecting and reporting hazards requiring attention.
    • Inspect, maintain, and resupply building first aid units, ensuring bathrooms and common areas are kept clean.
    • Schedule cleaning services as needed, updating and maintaining MSDS and emergency plan binders.
    • Ensure proper use of trash and recycle bins, handling on-site service calls as an in-market contact.
    • Perform fire extinguisher maintenance inspections and building AED maintenance and services.
Qualifications:
  • CDL license for equipment transport and delivery.
  • Mechanical skills and aptitude.
  • Knowledge of HDD drilling and OSP operations equipment (preferred).
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
