Job Summary

As a Senior Director of Human Resources Operations, you will play a key role in directing and working with human resource employees on recruitment, total compensation, employee relations, and training and development. Your primary objective will be to execute against objectives outlined in the Human Resource Business Plan and deliver services that meet or exceed the needs of employees and enable business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage legal and compliance practices, ensuring terminated employee files are retained for the required length of time and compliance on all human resource audits.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all progressive disciplinary action is kept in employee files and compliance with key policies (e.g., Sexual Harassment, Non-Harassment, Non-Discrimination, No Solicitation).
  • Work with the unemployment services provider to respond to unemployment claims and attend unemployment hearings to ensure proper representation.
  • Ensure employees are treated fairly and equitably, and that issues are brought to resolution.
  • Administer property policies fairly and consistently, ensuring disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to Standard and Local Operating Procedures (SOPs and LSOPs) and support the Peer Review Process.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED; 3 years experience in the human resources, management operations, or related professional area.
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major; 1 year experience in the human resources, management operations, or related professional area.
Benefits

Marriott International offers a competitive salary range of $128,000 to $162,000 annually, a bonus program, comprehensive health care benefits, 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match, employee stock purchase plan at 15% discount, accrued paid time off (including sick leave where applicable), life insurance, group disability insurance, travel discounts, adoption assistance, paid parental leave, health savings account (except for positions based out of or performed in Hawaii), flexible spending accounts, tuition assistance, pre-tax commuter benefits, other life and work wellness benefits, and may include other incentives such as stock awards and deferred compensation plans.
