Position Overview

As a Bar Support Specialist, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Effectively communicating guest requests to bartenders or servers as necessary.
  • Ensuring all glassware and bar equipment are cleaned and maintained.
  • Keeping the bar area and workspace tidy and organized.
  • Maintaining an adequately stocked bar to cater to various service levels.
  • Monitoring guest alcohol consumption and intervening when necessary, adhering to all relevant guidelines.
  • Representing Big Night Entertainment Group positively and professionally.
  • Collaborating effectively with fellow bar backs, servers, bartenders, and management.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

This role may be suitable for you if you possess the following skills and meet these qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a bar back in a high-volume, upscale food and beverage or club setting is required.
  • Current TIPS Certification is advantageous and will be mandatory if the position is offered.
  • Ability to pass the necessary legal background check as per Big Night Entertainment Group's requirements.
  • Capability to obtain the Massachusetts State Gaming Commission license prior to commencement.
  • A polished and professional appearance.
  • Effective communication skills with customers, the public, and colleagues.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.
