Job Overview:
- This role typically necessitates 2 to 5 years of relevant experience. The Office Administration Specialist is primarily engaged in various operational support activities for a designated team or department.
- Responsibilities include providing clerical and data entry assistance across multiple office administrative systems, along with executing word processing tasks.
- Overseeing office supply inventory, preparing purchase orders, and managing the processing and delivery of supply requests are key duties.
- Sorting and distributing mail/packages, as well as preparing items for shipping, are essential functions. Additionally, copying documents for smaller projects and performing routine maintenance on mail and copy room equipment are required.
- Coordinating logistics for office events and managing the logistics for office relocations, such as moving furniture and packing files, are also part of the role.
- The Administrative Assistant at a professional level utilizes practical knowledge typically gained through education and work experience (2 to 5 years of relevant experience is usually required).
