Position Overview
As the Senior Living Executive Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing various departmental coordinators and their respective programs. Your role will involve ensuring adherence to all applicable federal and state regulations, as well as the company's established policies and procedures. You will play a crucial part in promoting our residents' well-being by focusing on our core principles of Living Life On Purpose, which include Physical Fitness, Brain Fitness, Dining Experience, and Social/Spiritual Enrichment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial performance by preparing and monitoring the operating and capital budgets.
- Drive occupancy rates to achieve full capacity with a waiting list.
- Ensure sales and marketing objectives are met through regular meetings with the Sales Director.
- Supervise departmental coordinators to guarantee compliance with established guidelines.
- Maintain open communication with family members through regular updates.
- Respond promptly to family inquiries to foster trust and transparency.
- Participate in training and seminars to stay informed about industry standards and practices.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations to identify and address operational challenges.
- Lead the recruitment process for community staff, including interviewing and hiring department managers.
- Engage with residents to understand their backgrounds and enhance their living experience.
- Promote a culture of hospitality and exceptional service for residents, families, and visitors.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages team member engagement and retention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience.
- Experience in senior living, long-term care, or healthcare settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.
- Empathy and problem-solving abilities to support residents and families.
- Proficient in using technology and electronic devices.
- Flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of the community.
