Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Outreach Development Corp. As a key member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will be responsible for delivering direct clinical services in an integrated mental health and substance abuse treatment setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate various formats of therapy, including assessment, individual, group, and specialty services, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage a mental health and/or substance use caseload from intake to discharge, ensuring appropriate levels of care and clinical interventions.
  • Provide backup coverage for clinical staff absences and demonstrate initiative in task identification and completion.
  • Collaborate with the Site Director and Program Coordinator to effectively handle volume of work and address program issues.
  • Participate in quality improvement programs and support actions to improve care and services based on outcome data.
  • Complete all documentation, including progress notes, group notes, treatment plans, and utilization reviews, in a timely manner.
  • Actively participate in staff meetings, case conferences, and individual supervision, utilizing problem-solving skills and providing feedback to team members.
  • Maintain positive relationships with referents and other stakeholders, and communicate effectively with staff and case managers to integrate and enhance clinical services.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree preferred; LCSW, LMHC, or higher preferred.
  • Experience with substance abuse disorders and mental health disorders.
  • Commitment to providing quality services and outcome-driven performance measures.
  • Strong networking and public relations skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders, populations, and cultures.
  • Action-oriented, adaptable, and innovative approach to program planning.
  • Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people.
Work Environment

This is a full-time exempt position, requiring two evenings and Saturdays. The job operates in a professional office environment, with the ability to travel among assigned sites as needed.
