Job Title: Clinical Mental Health Therapist

The Clinical Mental Health Therapist will provide direct clinical services in an integrated mental health and substance abuse treatment setting. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering quality services and outcome-driven performance measures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate various formats of therapy, including assessment/intake, individuals, groups, and specialty services.
  • Manage a mental health and/or substance use caseload from date of entry to date of discharge, ensuring appropriate levels of care and clinical interventions.
  • Provide backup coverage in the event of other clinical staff absences.
  • Participate in and support agency quality improvement programs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Complete all documentation, including progress notes, group notes, treatment plans, and utilization reviews, in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree preferred; LCSW, LMHC, or higher preferred.
  • Experience with substance abuse disorders and mental health disorders.
  • Strong networking and public relations skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders, populations, and cultures.
  • Action-oriented, adaptable, and innovative approach to program planning.
  • Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people.
Work Environment:

This role operates in a professional office environment, requiring the ability to travel among assigned sites as needed. The position requires long periods of standing, sitting, and computer usage.
