Senior Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Commonpoint Queens. As a key member of our CAPE program, you will provide mental health services to adults 50 years old and older in our outpatient mental health center.
Responsibilities- Conduct intake assessments and provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to seniors in our satellite clinics.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, progress notes, and documentation as required.
- Participate in case conferences and clinical supervision to ensure high-quality care.
- Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to address the mental health needs of older adults in the community.
- Provide education and guidance to older adult center staff as needed.
- Master's degree in Social Work (LMSW) or LCSW preferred.
- Spanish language proficiency required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with older adults and their families.
