We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our GI Lab team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of our GI services.
Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, and manage the medical care of patients in collaboration with physicians.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that incorporate psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
- Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
- Engage in continuous growth and development in professional advanced nursing practice.
- Adhere to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN).
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- 5 years of recent relevant experience, with 5 years of NP acute care experience and GI experience preferred.
- Demonstrated general knowledge and competence with regard to advanced nursing theories, concepts, and practices.
- Working knowledge of the healthcare industry, safety precaution policies, and best practices regarding patient care and privacy.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Record.
This position may regularly work with hazardous drugs, as identified by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) for purposes of USP 800.
Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates. The salary range for this role is $81.81 to $114.51 per hour, with compensation taking into account several factors, including experience, education, skills, licensure, and certifications. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
