Mechanic Specialist

Southeast Connections LLC is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medium-duty trucks and equipment
- Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on engines, suspension, steering, hydraulics, transmissions, brakes, and other systems
- Perform preventive maintenance services in accordance with industry and manufacturer standards
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic with light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks
- Medium-duty truck or automotive experience preferred
- Off-road/construction equipment experience a plus
- Small engine repair experience a plus
- Qualified applicants must possess their own tools
- Mobile mechanic experience a plus
- Certification from a Technical School or ASE certifications a plus
- Valid state driver's license
- Education: High School Diploma or completion of a vocational training program in automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment maintenance
- Five years of full-time automotive mechanic experience, with one year of experience in heavy equipment maintenance at a commercial or professional repair
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and plan work in observance of deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and make strong decisions
- Excellent communication skills
