Position Overview:

The Automotive Lot Attendant plays a crucial role in supporting the Service Departments by ensuring the new and pre-owned vehicle lots are well-maintained and organized. This position involves the transportation of vehicles to designated areas for servicing and inventory management.

Qualifications:

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Licenses:
Valid Driver's License.

Skills:
- Ability to read and understand instructions and information.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong communication skills.
- Capability to meet the company's production and quality benchmarks.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to navigate throughout the facility for the majority of the shift.
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and elements.
- Time spent in climate-controlled indoor environments.

- Must effectively follow instructions and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Regularly review and assess actions to optimize time management and planning.
- Stay informed about industry terminology and technological advancements in products and services.
- Comprehend and adhere to federal, state, and local regulations affecting the business.
- Follow lawful directives from supervisors and comply with workplace rules and procedures.
- Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.

- Uphold confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.

Specific Responsibilities:

- Park vehicles according to company policy and under the guidance of Sales/Marketing to maintain an appealing lot for prospective buyers.
- Assist Sales and Service teams in relocating vehicles to facilitate efficient dealership operations.
- Manage the addition and upkeep of key tags and window stickers on all vehicles in the lot.
- Drive vehicles to other dealerships for inventory exchanges or to vendors as required.
- Provide transportation for customers using dealership vehicles when requested.
