Job Summary
The Department of Rehabilitation is seeking a highly skilled Office Technician (General) to provide technical and clerical support to the Team Manager and the VRSD team. As an Office Technician (General), you will be responsible for providing specialized duties related to the vocational rehabilitation services delivery process, consistent with the Code of Federal regulations, California Code of Regulations, and the department Rehabilitation Administrative Manual Sections 12 and 30.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and clerical support to the Team Manager and the VRSD team.
- Perform specialized duties related to the vocational rehabilitation services delivery process.
- Assist eligible individuals in achieving their employment goals by providing training, assistive technology, supported employment, and job placement support.
- Conduct eligibility determinations for applicants for services and direct post-employment services for individuals who find jobs as a result of DOR services.
- Provide services to consumers of the Department of Rehabilitation in a hybrid format, inclusive of providing direct services both remotely and in person.
- Work under a flexible schedule and may be required to travel for this position.
Working Conditions
This position may be eligible for a hybrid telework option upon completion of the probationary period and will be required to report to the office as needed/required.
